In this session, Ben teaches everyone how to sing the melody and harmonies.
You can also use the video to practice singing along if need be before coming along to the recording session.
Sing along to the recording session video from 5 March.
You may choose to record just the tune, just a harmony part, or as many different parts as you like on multiple recordings.
Remember, don’t listen back or edit your recording, just Sing and Send!
Scores are optional, and will be particularly helpful for those aiming to record one or more of the harmony parts. If you haven’t already, sign up to for our newsletter (using the “Newsletter” link at the top) to receive a score link in the next Friday edition!
Finally, send your recording to our Dropbox by following these steps:
Name your digital sound file with your first and last name (or initial) e.g. LiamGallagher, LiamG, LGallagher.
Check the file is in one of the following accepted formats: AAC, AIFF, MP3, M4A, WAV.
Send your file to our Dropbox using the link corresponding to the voice part you recorded. If you recorded several different parts, for example you sang along with the melody as well as the alto part, please put each recording in its correct Dropbox. If you recorded several different parts within a single recording, please put a copy of the entire file into each relevant Dropbox instead.
